Summer To Fall

Even though we are nearing thanksgiving, here in the south we are still in transitional weather.  One thing that I have always found helpful is looking into my closet and seeing which items can mix seasons. I keep this question at the forefront of my mind when i am shopping for clients or for myself.  I also like to discern between trends and staples.  my closet is filled with many forever items (well forever as long as i can fit into them, haha) and only a few trend pieces.  it is easier for me to mix and match through out the year this way & more cost efficient.  My husband would be thrilled that I am actually putting that into writing!

One key factor for a good transitional piece is the material.. This blazer material is Crêpe so it will breathe in the warmer months and insulate in the cooler.   Shown below is a "go to" outfit for me, which i feel could fit most body types.  it consists of: jeans, a blazer, and a fun bag.  TO make this outfit a little more casual I paired it with my favorite white tee,  if i had to run to a meeting,  i might pair it with a white dress shirt underneath.  the blazer and the jeans are some what tailored, so I kept the accent for my bag, and a sleek heel in the same color wheel house.  I am a little more conservative in my color choices here,  so it would be fun to have a colored heel too.   The beauty of self expression is there are no rules,  just let your personality shine through!
